One of the main weaknesses of mankind is the average person's familiarity with the word impossible. Success comes to those who become success conscious. Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure conscious. Omni Circle encourages the thought that possibilities are endless.
In 2019, Michael Odupitan returned to Topeka after leaving in 2015 to expand himself personally and professionally. Upon his return, he noticed that Topeka was improving but the minority community was not. The inclusion of the minority was not being addressed, and he wanted to level the playing field by creating opportunities for growth by developing an organization that would address the community's needs.
Michael developed a team of forward-thinkers, to implement a program that he was working on for the previous 4 years. The team settled on the name Omni Circle because all of the members of the group express shared interest in seeing their communities grow. Over the course of the first-year, Omni Circle utilized that time to understand their why, create strong bonds, establish its foundation, and create an agenda for the organization. This team is committed to creating opportunities for both young and established minorities. This will be created through mentoring, training, activities and events, networking, and connections.
The first year, Omni Circle was able to address some of the community's needs by providing back to school supplies and in the midst of a pandemic, they were able to provide sack lunches for the youth that were out of school.
Today, Omni Circle continues to address the needs of the community by expanding its network to see the vision of the program come to life.
